Rudolph Valentino (May 6, 1895-August 23, 1936)
Born in Italy, Valentino left for the United States at the age of 18 due to lack of employment positions in Italy. Upon arrival, Valentino fell for a beautiful Chilean heiress who was not happy with her marriage and wished to be with Valentino instead. Valentino then ran into trouble with her then ex-husband John de Saulles and was arrested for alleged radical political connections. Fleeing from town, Valentino joined a musical group to lay low from authorities. He soon returned to the U.S. where he took small jobs until he landed a role in a couple of screenplays. Impressed, producers sought to have Valentino in their films. Rudolph starred in numerous films such as The Sheik and Camille. Tragedy struck for Valentino dying at the age of 31 due to Peritonitis which is the complication in the abdominal region. The United States thanks Valentino for his service. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OAlbfZRCvY
